Walt Disney plans on releasing the new Muppet Movie for Christmas 2011 (December 25th 2011). The movie is written by Forgetting Sarah Marshall scribe/star Jason Segel and Get Him to the Greek/Sarah Marshall director Nicholas Stoller, and is being directed by Flight of the Conchords helmer James Bobin. Gerard Butler whose character is a bible-toting bad boy is set to take out 'Satan' in Sudan. Many are expecting the upcoming film to be a major success.Gerard who plays Sam Childers plays the role of redeption  throughout the film.  Sam who was once a drug addict and recently out of prison comes out to find religion. "The Lion King" is back. The visually -enhanced re-release of the Disney Film about the lion prince finished #1 this weekend against all competition. Beating out "Drive", "Straw Dogs", and "Contagion". The re-release of  Disney's 1994 epic film.  The film roared in to the top spot with $8.8 million on Friday. "Contagion" finished at #2. "Drive" finished at #3.  We will have to see if the re-release can hold it's crown next weekend as it goes up against Brad Pitt's, "Money-Ball". www.adrianquarless.blogspot.com . This thriller which premiered this weekend was #1 at the box office.  Fear and stars sell Hollywood movies and Contagion had plenty of both. With the shocked faces Matt Damon and Gwyneth Paltrow and the deadly spread of this killer virus. The suspense and frightful scenes in the movie as the virus moving from person to person , city to city, country to country, infection millions, finished up #1 this weekend.

Contagion is a fiction. But it tells an effective story of why we need new vaccines, tests , drugs, and other tools to prevent, diagnose and treat diseases to prevent global health threats.
