DESPITE IRENE "THE HELP" REMAINS #1
The hurricane didn't seem to stop The Help from remaining #1 at the box office Friday. With a gross of $4.4 million and new domestic total of $86.7 million. With theatres being closed in the Philadelphia and New York area there might be a slight dip in overall domestic box office grosses this weekend. Zoe Saldana's "Colombiana" comes in at No.2 , followed by Don't Be Afraid Of The Dark which came in #3. According to www.adrianquarless.blogspot.com the film(Don't Be Afraid Of The Dark) received a C-Cinema Score, which will impact word of mouth. Overall distributors expect overall box office sales to be down by 25%, because of Irene. Resulting in the worst weekend of the year. To follow the owner of this blog.
