One of the strongest earthquakes to hit the U.S east coast has rattled offices today. Causing panicking from Washington to as high up as New York. The Pentagon, the U.S Capitol and Union Station in the nation's
capital were all evacuated after the 5.9 magnitude quake hit. The disruption to mobile phones in the hours after the quake. The temblor which was 3.7 miles deep was the strongest to hit Virginia since 1987, according to USGS data.
